One Filmmaker's vehicle

Is your hatchback not cutting it for traveling and hauling your film equipment or are your friends not willing to help you bring some of it to your next shooting location? A documentary filmmaker friend of mine recently made a vehicle purchase specifically for traveling for shoots.
"It's a used ambulance", he tells me.

"Like the Ghostbusters' car?"

"Um no. It's something a little more current. The ride is perfect for what I need."

He goes on to tell me that he found it on ebay.com and that the vehicle was reasonably priced. The rear still had the shelving units still intact and it worked perfectly for storing equipment with room still for his small crew to ride along.
